By the end of the evening moratorium of December 21st, people from many walks of life had travelled from all over northern solstice_11.jpgWisconsin to join together in support of bringing peace to Iraq and other wartorn areas of the world.

Friendly conversation, supportive waves and the sounds of car horns from passing vehicles whose passengers wanted to show their appreciation and approval of the efforts of the crowd of more than 80 peaceful demonstrators punctuated the chilly December night.

Military veterans, parents, spouses and children of veterans and active-duty military personnel are among those who join members of Peace North in the monthly vigils. The next vigil will take place on Friday, February 15th. Please join Peace North to show your support for creating a more peaceful world!
