| An organization started by families of soldiers who have died as a result of war, GSFP is organizing to be a positive force in our world to bring our country’s sons and daughters home from Iraq, to minimize the “human cost” of this war, and to prevent other families from the pain they are feeling as the result of their losses. |
|
The organization includes men and women veterans from World War II, Korea, Vietnam, the Gulf War, other conflicts and peacetime veterans. Their collective experience tells us wars are easy to start and hard to stop and that those hurt are often the innocent. Thus, other means of problem solving are necessary. |
Military Families Speak Out is an organization of people who are opposed to war in Iraq and who have relatives or loved ones in the military. Their membership currently includes over 2,400 military families, with new families joining daily. |

Vets4Vets help Iraq Vets to: Feel Good about themselves and the good parts of their military service, Heal from the negative aspects of their military service and the war, and Take Power by playing powerful and increasingly rational roles in how the society deals with issues affecting veterans, the military and foreign policy. Vets4Vets non-partisan, and all Iraq-era veterans are welcome. Vets4Vets support groups consist of military veterans listening and taking equal and uninterrupted turns telling their stories within an agreement of complete confidentiality. |
